Bermuda?
Yes, The Tempest, will be part of this years Bermuda Theatre Festival, and I will be part of it. With only four performances, the show is already sold out, but there is plenty else to do there this season. Click on the link above to check it out.
I will be playing Antonio, Prospero's charming but evil brother. What fun. Fellow Romeo and Juliet actor Tom Beckett will be playing Trinculo.
Talk about your Shakespeare...This has been a year filled with it for me.
My previous trip to the shipwrecked isle came under the direction of George C. Wolfe and starred Patrick Stewart. This production is directed by Joel Froomkin, and marks the 400th anniversary of Bermuda. The Tempest, was reputedly inspired by tales of the wreck of the Sea Venture.
