Enemy has opened

An Enemy of the People has opened at Centerstage.  Set in the 60's with a Scenic design nodding to the Kennedy - Nixon debate this production has a multimedia flare to it. 

Kwame Kwei-Armah, new artistic director, has opened the 50th anniversary season with this conversation starter.  Yes it's an election year!  Bring your political eyes and ears and begin a conversation post show.

The cast is wonderful, and a blend of folks from New York and Baltimore.  You're bound to see one of your favorite "The Wire," actors.  I certainly hope to return to work with Kwame again.  Believe what you hear.  He is an actor's director, generous, kind, and smart-smart-smart.

As part of his mission to connect theatres around the globe he has installed a media wall in the lobby of the theatre with commissioned monologues entitled MY AMERICA  check it out.
