Pix from Bermuda
Bermuda boy oh boy. What an awesome experience. We stayed at he Fairmont Southampton. It had a private beach...with...yes pink sand. The show was done in the City Hall building. It was pretty extensive technically. With projections, magic, sound and lights, tech was long and exhausting, but the end result was well worth it. We had grey skies for most of our visit, but the last couple of days were warm and sunny. We made it to the beach and got to man The Spirit of Bermuda.
Captain Simon Colley and the crew took us out for a trip and then attended our closing night performance. Needless to say it was a much more informed performance .

Gutenberg the Musical
Who knew I could sing? Crazy right? Well I'm going back to my roots. I used to only do musicals before moving to NY. That was long before my Shakespeare/Susan Lori-Parks/August Wilson days.
I will be in the Kitchen Theatre's production of Gutenberg the Musical.
To make things even more intriguing...it's a two person musical. Rehearsals start in May and runs in June and July.
This should not be missed.

Criminal Intent update
The new episodes of Law and Order Criminal Intent have been moved back again. They are now intended to begin on April 19th.
That being said this may change again...But the tentative air date is now May 31st 2009. It is episode #162. The title is Salome in Manhattan.
Come back at the end of April to check for sure.
Thanks.
Back from Bermuda
You lovely Island. What a great time was had there. With only four performances the Tempest was quite a success. Rave reviews and a great group of people to travel and work with.
While we were there we had the opportunity to actually man The Spirit of Bermuda and took her out for a quick day trip from Hamilton to Dockyards. Truly a highlight of our trip.
We also ended the week with a lovely 70 degree day at the beach, and a meal at the Waterlot Inn.
Another highlight was laying down on my bed with the balcony window open and having a pigeon come into my room for a visit.
Big Thank you to all the Bermuda Theatre Festival Chairs, Organizers, Volunteers, Fairmont staff, Huntington Theatre, City Hall crew, local talent, and the warm smiling faces of the residence.
Check back in this weekend for pictures.
