A Legal Mind - pilot episode

On Thursday of last week I flew from Denver where I am rehearsing Reckless at the Denver Center Theatre Company so that I could be in New York to shoot the pilot episode of A Legal Mind for the USA Network.

In the episode I play a proctor for an LSAT test. For most of my scene I give suspicious glares and ultimately question actor Patrick J. Adams, a questionable test taker. It erupts into a chase scene through the halls of the University.

Here's a shot of me in my trailer during the "Hurry up and wait," period. Director, Kevin Bray, cast and crew were all amazing and very friendly. It was well worth the jet lag, time change, and being awake for 22 hours.

Law and Order has been berry good to me

Just before Thanksgiving I booked two Law and Orders. When working out in the regions it's always funny to hear audience members as they acknowledge NY actors as those who've done a Law and Order.

On January 21st I will play Judge Wallace Clark. This is the first ORDER side of the table for me. I have found a body on Criminal Intent, been a creepy-nosey neighbor on Law and Order, and a non-creepy Pastor. Now I'm in a robe and snarky.

I've had the opportunity to work with Jesse Martin, Jerry Orbach, Vince D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe, Milena Govich, and in this episode the detectives are Anthony Anderson, and Jeremy Sisto.

Later in January I will be playing Peter Wellsley, a governor of a Carribean Island, on Jeff Goldblum's first season of Criminal Intent. My step daughter is a celebutante and my ex-model wife and I are questioned after her mysterious murder.
