Uncorked

Look out I gotta gun.
I finally got over my cold. You know...change in the weather...etc.

I had a fantastic time shooting a Webisode entitled, "Uncorked." It is a four part series and written and produced by Park Productions. We spent the day at Sheldrake Point winery in upstate NY (Ovid) near Ithaca.

Check out Park Productions Blog to see pictures and find out more about the project.

The Royal Family

This week I attended the opening night of, "The Royal Family." Manhattan Theatre Clubs Artistic Director, Lynne Meadow said during her curtain speech that she fell in love with this play when she first saw it in the 70's.

MTC has pulled together another amazing ensemble of actors. Rosemary Harris as the matriarch, Jan Maxwell, John Glover, Reg Rogers, Ana Gasteyer, Tony Roberts, Kelli Barrett, Freddy Arsenault, Larry Pine, David Greenspan...

And Caroline Stephanie Clay. Caroline and I have known each other since the beginning of my NY acting career.
Here she is posing for the paparazzi. Notice Director Doug Hughes in the background. My first equity gig came from being seen in a production of Medea with Caroline. I got cast as Paul in Six Degrees at Seattle Rep.where Doug Hughes was the Associate Artistic Director.

At the opening night party (Planet Hollywood) here's a photo of Caroline, her agent Penny Luedtke, and myself.

The 39 Steps

What happens when a Hitchcock classic gets translated to the stage? What happens when the first few regional theatres start to doing productions. What happens when I audition for one of the clowns with a German accent?

Not what I expected either...but thanks to Rich Cole, Martha Banta and St. Louis Rep, I will be in the upcoming production of ... The 39 Steps at St. Louis Rep this Winter. This looks to be a very exciting production.
Arnie Burton and Jeffrey Kuhn are pretty darn funny in the Broadway production so if you get a chance to see them...make sure you check it out before they close in January.

Audition and Monologue Prep

For the next two months Oct/Nov, I am available to assist you in prepping for an audition. I will work with you on the sides and/or assist you in preparing your monologue. I am willing to give feedback as well as attend auditions with you as your personal reader.

I can set up rehearsal time and work with you at Ripley Grier Studios.
Fee is on a sliding scale based on prep time required and rehearsal space needs.

I have found that the more prepared you are for an audition, the more relaxed you are and because of this you are more open to adjustments given by directors and casting directors.

I am interested in working with Contemporary Stage/TV, Classical and Musical Theatre performers.

I have been a reader, as well as an auditioner in the past and have a sense of what "The other side of the table," is looking for.

Let's Get You Booked!

OCT 17th Flea Market

On October 17th I will have a table set up at the Weehawken Flea Market on Park Place.
I will be selling a bunch of my handmade knit and crochet items. Stop on by.

If you are interested in having a specialty item made for you, you can place an order now and I will have it ready for you. Or stop by my table to see what's available and place an order then.

Looking forward to seeing you. Tyrone
